I'm trying to simulate a reactive planar impinging jet with OpenFOAM. Since the boundary conditions along x-axis (the direction of fual & oxidizer streams) and z-axis are cyclic and along y-axis are wave transmissive, the initial conditions becomes very important in my simulation. I have three questions:
1. How can I impose the initial conditions and turbulent intensities in my initial condition in the shear layer to trigger the evolution of shear generated turbulence? 2. Can I use firefoam for this modelling (with Mach No. of about 0.3) ? 3. Can I use finite rate chemistry for a reduced skeletal mechanism in firefoam ? -Thank You |
