rotational cyclic bc not working with grad operator

okay I know that we have to specify
transform rotational; rotationAxis (0 0 1); Now what I am doing is, I am using laplacianFoam to get a potential flow solution. The T in it is acutally the velocity potential for me. Then the write.H file writes the ouput for the U, V and W velocities. But when I plot the vector, they are not at all rotationally periodic. They look as if a vector has just been picked up from one face center to another (the vectors on both patches are parallel!) So doesnt gradT calculation support the transformation? |
