Hi,
I am a new openFOAM user and try to get used to it through some "tutorials". I want to solve this problem in openFOAM: http://www.esi-cfd.com/component/opt...,2/Itemid,206/ It is a simple conduction problem: solid-fluid-solid with fixed temperatures at the INNER and OUTER parts. I couldn't find a solver that can really handle this. So far, I simply used the basic scalarTransportFoam and just neglected the wall-thickness... that was not a big deal. But I want to simulate the entire problem..conduction through solid and fluid. The only heat transfer that has to be taken into account is conduction. Can anyone help me? Thanks..! |

I have no experience of this kind of simulation but maybe this solver is a starting point,
Code:
OpenFOAM-2.0.x/applications/solvers/heatTransfer/chtMultiRegionFoam /N |
