nu in cavity example

Hi everyone,
Just to warn you, I'm a complete CFD noob. Looking over transportProperties file in the cavity example, what do the seven values within the square brackets represent in "nu [ 0 2 -1 0 0 0 0 ] 0.01;" ? I see there are also seven-value 'dimensions' entries in the 0/U and 0/P files. Are these related to the nu entry above ? Thanks, Bob. |

The answer is in section 2.1.1.3 "Physical properties" of the user guide. http://www.openfoam.com/docs/user/cavity.php These are the physical units (m^2 / sec) |

No, section 2.1.1.3 only details the kinematic viscosity value.
My question was, with the line "nu [ a b c d e f g ] 0.01", what does a -> g mean ? I do appreciate your help though, so please bear with me. Bob. |
