Effective diffusivity k , k-epsilon model

Default Effective diffusivity k , k-epsilon model

Hi

in the effective diffusivity k, the sigma_k constant is left out. In the most cases its value is assumed to be 1.

Apparantly this term is not important. What is the reason behind it ? is it because the diffusivity is not known at all ?
