OF'ers,
I realise this has been discussed at great extent through the forum but nothing like my problem appears to have come up, here's my issue. I have been re-creating some old meshs and re-running my old cases (I won't bore you with the reason) and for some reason completely different force results have been calculated. I have re-ran the original case with the original mesh, which replicated the original force results, as it should do but after deleting my polymesh recreating it from scratch and running ideasUnvTo..... snappyHexMe.. snapEdge (same files, same snappyHex, same snapEdge) and running the case again with literally the same mesh, the forcecoeffi are completely different. The results were around Cl = 0.434 and now Cl = around 400,000. The mesh is pretty much the same, using the same files to mesh it, what could I have done so different? confused and in need of a little help, Regards Dave |

I worked it out.
It was a scaling problem command: transformPoints -scale '(0.001 0.001 0.001)' |
