Dear lore
I have not used snappyHexMesh but I need a software that it be a user friend like Gambit (but it can be install in Linux ) and It create also geometry (line surface volume) then It create grid In my search I found that Engrid GMSH gridgen SALOME ... softwares have ability to do it but I don't know which of them is the best |

I've always used snappyHexMesh and I think it actually does a pretty good job so I don't have such a big experience with third party software.
I think you could use this one though: http://geuz.org/gmsh/ Once I've done the mesh you'll have to convert it to be read in Open Foam with the command gmeshToFoam. |
