Hi,
Im trying to set my thermophysical properties for a liquid flow in a pipe with heat transfer. At first it can be incompressible and the flow laminar. (simpliest case just to learn). I did this simulation using buoyantSimpleFoam for gas (the default air properties of tutorials) using : thermoType hPsiThermo<pureMixture<constTransport<specieThermo <hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>>; It works well... Which thermoType should I use ? Maybe should I use BuoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam instead buoyantSimpleFoam? Thanks for the attention guys |

for laminar incompressible flow you can you can add:
scalarTransportFoam to icoFoam and compile it! or use buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam or buoyantBoussinesqPisoFoam |

Thanks for the answer guy,
Its a laminar , imcompressible flow with heat tranfer, so I would use boussinesqSimple. |
