Hello everyone. I'm using a version of reactingFoam with an alternate formulation of chemistry and am investigating wall heat flux of strained diffusion flames. I am running turbulent cases using standard k-Epsilon and am finding that the wall heat flux keeps increasing even after the flame front has touched the wall.
I'm calculating heat flux using the same method as the wallHeatFlux post-processor. The thermal diffusivity looks about right near the wall, so I can't see what else might be causing problems. I've used this on laminar cases and haven't had any problems. Does anyone else had similar problems? |
