Hi,
I want to run simpleFoam with k-epsilon model around an airfoil. I have generated these boundaries: U file p file UpperCamber, fixedValue u(0 0 0) zeroGradient LowerCamber, fixedValue u(0 0 0) zeroGradient TrailingEdge fixedValue u(0 0 0) zeroGradient Floww, freestream u(20 0 0) freestreamPressure Emptyy. empty empty Now I do not know which file I need for k-epsilon. Is it only these files : k , epsilon , nut, p and U ? what represents the files nuTilda and R , and are they necessary? What I have done only for epsilon, nut and k files are these: epsilon - file k - file UpperCamber, epsilonWallFunction, u 3 epsilonWallFunction, u 1.5 LowerCamber, epsilonWallFunction, u 3 epsilonWallFunction, u 1.5 TrailingEdge epsilonWallFunction, u 3 epsilonWallFunction, u 1.5 Floww, fixedValue, u 0 fixedValue ,u 0; Emptyy. empty empty nut-file UpperCamber, nutWallFunction; , u 0 LowerCamber, nutWallFunction;, u 0 TrailingEdge nutWallFunction; u 0 Floww, fixedValue; u 0 Emptyy. empty; This doesn't work. I want only turbulence calculation around airfoil, so inlet (floww) should be without turbulence. |
