Hi all!
I guess this post has been up before however it lack the information I need. For a complex geometry created in ICEM, lets say an engine, different sets needs to be written when importing to OF. The fluent3DMesh.. however does not have this alternative. I can then use the cellSetDict and cellToZone or sth to get the sets written in the polymesh, this works for the internal mesh e.g. the cells in the cylinderhead and the piston. What I need now is just the conversion of a faceZone into the sets and I thought of using faceSetDict, faceZone to cell, since i know that this layer is present in the ./constant/polyMesh/faceZones file. The error message is just that the "option" alternative is not there, and when it is put there, it is "undefined". Does anyone know how to resolve this problem or is it possible in some way to instantly get the fluentMeshToFoam -writeSets alternative to work ? Regards R |
