Hi everybody,

I am a phd student. I am planning to study flow around cylindrical structures. (specifically under water pipelines)

I will do some experimental works (lab tests) and computer model and I will compare their results.
I am planning to examine flow around pipes and pipes deformations.

I really want to use openfoam for my phd but right now I am just a beginner user. So I don't know openfoams limitations.

Could anyone please tell me, whether or not this type of study is possible with using openfoam?
(Especially, is that possible to model pipes deformations in openfoam?)
