supvika is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am interested in a problem of propagation of strong acoustic pulses in liquids (water and liquid lead) with possible formation of shock waves. Does anybody knows which solver (if any) is most suitable for this type of problem. I played with sonicLiquidFoam and compressibleInterFoam (for two phase flow), but I am not sure what happens for very strong pulses.

Any help is very much appreciated,
Victoria
