Hello guys,
i want to simulate a symmetrical model in OpenFOAM 1.6. I used to work with *.stl-Files (ascii) out of CatiaV5. If i´m working with the full model the simulation is running correctly. My Problem with the half-model: - Look at this link http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/3825/halbmodell.png - The half-symmetrical-model is pushed together... - How can i use the model correctly? - I dont want that the displacement is moving together - The log-file writes: Calculating patchDisplacement as distance to nearest surface point ... Wanted displacement : average:0.0648462 min:1.19234e-07 max:0.345365 Calculated surface displacement in = 0.51 s [1] Limiting displacement for 1079 from 0.264213 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 1080 from 0.264213 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 1092 from 0.264213 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 2325 from 0.250877 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 2333 from 0.264213 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7213 from 0.282994 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7220 from 0.306543 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7221 from 0.306274 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7226 from 0.29517 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7232 from 0.311846 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7238 from 0.32994 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7239 from 0.331361 to 0.25 [1] Limiting displacement for 7240 from 0.304805 to 0.25 ....
