Philer is on a distinguished road
Dear All,

Can anyone please educate me on how to map the data between faced centred field to vertex based field with OpenFoam?

I saw posts and slides on how to map data between different patches, but essentially the data type is the same, either face-centred or vertex centred. Another common need is to map the faced-centred data to vertex data, say you want to translate the face-centred pressure to vertex-based displacement. Does OpenFAOM have the facility to readily change face-centred data to vertex based data on the same patch?

Thanks,
Philer
