I have a question about the pressure boundary conditions, for example in the cavity / icoFoam tutorial.
There a zeroGradient boundary condition for the pressure is specified, which is not correct in my opinion. When plotting the pressure field, there is a kink, because the value on the boundary is set to the value in the cell. Now, in the following iteration, the pressure gradient will be evaluated incorrectly in this boundary cell. Is there a way (or need) of fixing this issue? Or is the error introduced negligible, when refining the mesh? |
