Hello,

Recently I have encountered a problem When I want to run a simple case with interFoam (OF 1.7.1 ) in parallel. the out file shows that After selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian, it crashes ( specially in 3D cases). Actually I dont know it crashes or there is another problem which I cant understand. it is weired because I can run it normally without parallelization without any problem. Sometimes even I can run it in parallel but with few processor( 4 ).
Does anybody has this problem with OF 1.7.1?

I would be grateful if you guys help me to fix my problem.

Thanks,

MEhran

I found out that when I decrease the dimension of my domain in to millimeter. ex.(3mm*1.2mm) independent of the cell size, it crashes when I run it in parallel. ( it runs in order of cm not mm...why???) Why this happen?? can any body help me!!

I have no Idea what to do. The OF 2.1.0 Case runs ok on a Single Processor. I have tried Different decomposition methods but no luck. I have tried different CPU counts again No Luck.
Ideas, Anyone?
Thank you
