Create Case Files automatically?

Hi everybody,

Is there any possibility to create some of the file structure (template files) automatically? For example the fields for the variables some dictionary’s… There are a lot of solvers without tutorials, so you had to pick up the files from other solvertutorials and modify them this takes a lot of time. Is there no quicker way?

PS.: I use open Foam 1.7.1

I've never used it myself, but you can take a look at PyFoam: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib_PyFoam

I think I've read somewhere that PyFoam has scripts for helping set-up cases and that should only be the tip of the iceberg of what PyFoam can do!
