Hi Foamers,

Does anyone know how a radiation sub-model -which calculates the absorption/emission coefficients in the field- could be implemented from OpenFOAM 1.6 into OpenFOAM 1.5?

Actually, the solver (alternateSteadyReactingFoam) I'm working on is only executable under OpenFOAM 1.5, and unfortunately this version of OpenFOAM is not equipped with the radiation sub-model "greyMeanAbsorptionEmission". I've tried so much to add this module to the available radiation sub-models, but it fails! I was wondering if someone has an idea of attaching these sub-models to OpenFOAM 1.5.

I fully appreciate sharing any opinion in this regard.

Cheers,
Sina
