Hello,

I'm trying to convert a mesh from fluent to OF. The conversion is working perfectly, but it think i don't have all the files converted. OF creates all the files excepts "boundary" file. So, my question is:

I have to define (write) myself the boundary file or this can be done in gambit or fluent?

Best Regards,
Ovidiu

Dear Inginer,

you can define the boundary in Gambit.
After conversion to OpenFoam check the constant/polyMesh/boundary file: usually the conversion from fluent to OF change the wall boundary to patch type, so will have to manually change them back to wall.

Regards,

Jean

Thk Jean,

I can see the mesh. The next step is to write the files from system directory and launch the application.

Best Regards,
Ovidiu
