Hello,
I'm trying to convert a mesh from fluent to OF. The conversion is working perfectly, but it think i don't have all the files converted. OF creates all the files excepts "boundary" file. So, my question is: I have to define (write) myself the boundary file or this can be done in gambit or fluent? Best Regards, Ovidiu |

Dear Inginer,
you can define the boundary in Gambit. After conversion to OpenFoam check the constant/polyMesh/boundary file: usually the conversion from fluent to OF change the wall boundary to patch type, so will have to manually change them back to wall. Regards, Jean |

Thk Jean,
I can see the mesh. The next step is to write the files from system directory and launch the application. Best Regards, Ovidiu |
