Hi Foamers,

I try to simulate the flow around cubes with kepsilon model. I used the postprocessing utility R for getting the Reynolds stress tensor.
How is the tensor notation for R? Is the first entry u'v' or -u'v' or even something else.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks alot

Benni

Hi Benni,

the Reynold stress tensor components are in this order: (Rxx Rxy Rxz Ryy Ryz Rzz)
or, using your notation: (u'^2 u'v' u'w' v'^2 v'w' w'^2)

Cheers

Matteo
