Hi all,
I need to do a mode analysis for a simple mechanical problem. From the manual, it does not appear that openFOAM has a ready solver for this. Before I start digging into C++ code I want to ask if anyone has used openFOAM to for mode analysis ? Any hints on what classes would be more useful ? Obviously, I would need to load a mesh, and I would need to use matrices to store operator coefficients, but I am not sure yet whether I can use already existing code to create the coefficient matrix or whether this needs to be done from scratch. thank you Vladimir Dergachev |

Hi volodya,
are still working on that eigenvalue thing? Did you come to a solution with openFoam? Greetz jim |
