Hi, everybody, i am new to this forum and also for this software.
Actually i am trying to simulate the heat transfer mechanisms in attic space due to convection, conduction, radiation through the roof and ceiling to get the attic space temperature and ceiling heat flux to determine the heat loss or gain through ceiling. Is there any solver appropriate for this task or i should develop myself? Is this openfoam capable to analyze or simulate this complex heat transfer mechanism? Thank you. |

I'm an architect and beside design I also teach energy performance of the buildings. I'm interested too in the capabilities of OpenFOAM to simulate all the heat transfers throughout the building components.
