Hi all,

I am in the midst of implementing the chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam solver on a merged mesh that consists of air flowing through an iron pipe. I would like to say it's going well, but it's not.

When I run the splitMeshRegions utility, the output says that there are no "sizes inbetween regions." There should be a value of the number of cells between the regions. I believe this is the reason that the regions are not interacting with one another when I run the solver.

Does anyone have any experience with why this is occurring?

best regards,
Matt

Disregard my previous post because I FINALLY have it working. I'll post the solution tonight.

matt,

I think i'm working on something similar. I need to create a mesh of a cooling channel (liquid hydrogen running through a rocket chamber). I'm thinking of using chtmultiregionFOam, but i'm having trouble figuring out how to create two separate regions (solid and fluid). I created a similar case in FLUENT, but i'm unable to do so in OpenFOAM.

Can you give me some advice
