hello everbody,
I have a question concerning radiation simulations. I want to simulate Sandia Flame D with radiation. around the flame there should be no cover. so it is an open space i.e. openWall. should i use zeroGradient or MarshakRadiation for this? openWall { type zeroGradient; } or openWall { type MarshakRadiation; T T; emissivity 0; (= no emissivity) value uniform 0; } what must I use at streaming in- and outlets? I'm asking because in the bouyantSimpleRadiationFoam/hotRadiationRoom case there are only walls and neither open patches nor in/outlets... Thanks in advance Marc Last edited by marcbest; July 12, 2010 at 08:32. |

Hello marcbest,
Have you found a solution for your problem? I think I'm facing with the same problem. I have posted a question in the following thread: Understanding the Marshak boundary condition (radiation) can you please help me? Best regards GB |
