macbeth is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I'm trying to set up a case for simpleSRFFoam for a propellor-like geometry, but I can't get beyond the first step:

I have created a cylindrical mesh with blockmesh.
For now, I only have an inlet, an outlet and a "side" (no prop inside the cylinder).
Now I want to generate a "rotating flow" using SRFVelocity at the inlet.
How do I set the other BCs to simulate free stream conditions? No matter what I tried, I never got a uniform distribution for Uabs when I look at the solution with paraview.
In my understanding Urel should be a constant "swirl" through the cylinder and Uabs should be uniform.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thx!
MacBeth
