Hello everyone,
I am modelling a Jet in Hot Coflow by FireFoam . I would like to understand if Mixture Fraction model could be used for my case since I have three inlet patches (inletFuel, inletAir and inletCoflow). inletCoflow is the patch for a combustion products inlet which are coming from a second burner (N2, O2, CO2, H20). My doubt was born while I was setting the boundary condition for the mixture fraction "Ft" file in the 0 directory (Coflow is either no fuel inlet or air inlet ). Thank You for your help! |

If the inletCoflow is pure product, fireFoam can handle it. Just make ft equals the stoichiometric value at the inletCoflow.

I appreciate your help, basically, I don't understand why I should set Ft equals to the stoichiometric value of the Coflow.
Could you explain to me something about that? |
