Paraview error

Hello to everbody,
im using a suse, 32 bit platform (server. the conection is made at the distance) and i have a problem in bliding my paraview. this are the error that im receving: ERROR: In /root/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-1.6/paraview-3.6.1/VTK/Rendering/vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow.cxx, line 405 vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow (0x88ee558): Could not find a decent visual ERROR: In /root/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-1.6/paraview-3.6.1/VTK/Rendering/vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow.cxx, line 612 vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow (0x88ee558): GLX not found. Aborting. Does it exist a solution for this? Thk you, |

Greetings Inginer and welcome to the forum!
OK, that has happened to me, so I suspect you are running it remotely via VNC or similar. What happens is that ParaView needs OpenGL drivers and a graphics card attached to the display you are using, and VNC connections usually don't have a graphics card associated, although they do use an X display port. As far as I know, you have at least 3 possible solutions:
