Hello everybody,
I am doing some aerodynamics calculations with simpleFoam. Everything works fine so far. Now I want to make a plot of how the drag value distributes over the length of the vehicle (say: high drag in the front due to stagnation, then somewhat lower and a high peak due to the wake again at the rear of the vehicle). I know that this is possible to do in Fluent and I was wondering, if it would be possible in OpenFoam as well. Does anybody have experience or ideas? Would I need to write a small utility for that? (I think I might need something like: the 6 force contributions for each cell center or so) Thanks already in advance, /Bastian |
