Hi, I just got OF-1.5 running with infiniband, basically following the information in this link
http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/HowTo_Pstream In this case I used openmpi-1.4, since that was recommended by Qlogic. However, when trying to build OF-1.3 using openmpi-1.4 following the same procedure I failed. Could there be "compatibility" issues, limiting the versions of openmpi that are "acceptable" to OF-1.3? /j |

Managed to get it running. I used openmpi-1.2.9 and built it with
./configure \ --prefix=/home/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.3/jonBuilds/openmpi-1.2.9 \ --enable-shared --disable-static --disable-mpi-f77 --disable-mpi-f90 \ --disable-mpi-profile --disable-mpi-cxx --with-devel-headers \ --with-openib Then rebuilt OpenFOAM-1.3 with gcc-4.1.2-46.el5_4.2. This was on a CentOS 5.4 system. |
