Dear Foamers.
Hi, everyone. My name is Jun Kwon Park and I'm Ph.D. candidate at POSTECH in south Korea. First of all, I want to let you know there are increasing interests on OpenFOAM among Korean CFD researchers. And I'm supposed to give a presentation to introduce OpenFOAM in Korean domestic conference which will be held in May, 2010. The title of my talk is "Introduction to OpenFOAM: open source software" and the conference is hosted by KSCFE (Korean Society of Computational Fluids Engineering). So, I would like to ask you to give some informations for my talk as follows. 1. How many official developers does OpenCFD Ltd. possess? 2. How many people participate in the Open Source CFD International Conference? and OpenFOAM workshop? 3. Is there any document which compares the accuracy of OpenFOAM with commercial packages like Fluent or CFX? If you don't know the exact number, a rough estimate would be also helpful. Then, have a nice day. With regards, Park |
