Hello,
I am trying to simulate flow over a bump (subsonic, transonic, supersonic) with axi-symmetric geometry using sonicFoam solver. The geometry with boundary types can be seen in the attached picture. Velocity, pressure and temperature were specified at inlet. All variables were extrapolated (zero gradient) at outlet. Tried different conditions for axis (symmetryPlane, empty) and upperwall (wall, slip, symmetryPlane). But the results are somewhat like shown in attached files. I have also tried this problem without axi-symmetric geometry (but with same BC) and it works fine. Please see results. Could anybody help with the axi-symmetric geometry problem? Thanks, Madhura |
