Dear all:
I want to generate inflow data for LES simulation. First I want to do a pre-simulation, then extract the plane data near outlet position. I know timeVaryingMappedFixedValue utility, it can do this. Could someone tell me how to extract the plane data to the format which timeVaryingMappedFixedValue can read ? sample utility seems can't do this work. If I have to write some code to export U and T data in this plane ? Because maybe I will have 200,000 time steps data. If someone can give me some suggestiongs ? |

I think timeVaryingMappedFixedValue is indeed a good utility, but if we don't have utility to generate appropriate format data for it, timeVaryingMappedFixedValue will be very difficult to use.
even if we have experiment data, but if have many time steps , we can't modify every time step data one by one. So data format is a big problem for timeVaryingMappedFixedValue . for the first step, I think we should have utility to generate timeVaryingMappedFixedValue format data using pre-simulation. |
