ParaView command not found

Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I am trying to install OpenFOAM on UBUNTU but praview is not working well. I am getting one error "command not found". I tried to go through the installation procedure but din't find solution. Please help me out. Thanks a lot |

Hi,
you don't give much information about your error. Which version of OpenFOAM and which version of ubuntu. There is a good script posted on this forum, called "installation cookbook", which worked for me pretty well (even two times: on 32bit and 64bit ubuntu). It installs ParaView as well. bye Axel |

Could just be your syntax in the command. For OF 1.5 the command to open Paraview is:
paraFoam Where the capitalization is important. It is probably similar for other versions, but I cannot speak for them as I have not used them. As Axel_T said, more info is needed for a more in depth analysis of the error. Not sure if that is even what you are trying to do, but is a possibility. |
