Hi All,
I want to set-up my problem in OpenFoam. I have gone through the user guide, but dint get idea about: How to generate mesh, how to define BC & fluid property & solvers ? Please some one can help me to find any doc/ link where all the procedure are defined step by step. I have to setup "flow over flat plate" kinda problem. It was urgently required............ thanks alot |

I would look for an similar case in tutorials-folder (maybe airfoil?), create your own mesh (blockMesh or using Salome), adjust the boundaries in 0/ folder of the case so that them match to your mesh and run the solver. Also look whether the fluid properties are setup in a right way (viscosity? air? water?)

Hi Devesh..............
you can refer to tutorial cases and documentation in OpenFOAM-1.5 directory in doc and tutorials. Please go through the documentation first.... Mahendra |
