i want to simulate velocity field of supersonic gas (400m/s) from a nozzle to a chamber. Some friends may give me some advice? especially about the setting of boundary conditions...thank you very much ahead...

I have done something very similar. I got inspired by looking at tutorials/compressible/rhoCentralFoam/LadenburgJet60psi (2D axi-symmetric).

Thank you very much!
I will have a try with your method.... These days, i am also trying to solve it with other methords. I used sonicFoam to get an acceptable result. However, i also obtained acceptable results considering the flow as incompressible one with some steady turbulent solver...i don't know why... |

I ve been trying the same problem too .. Can anyone discuss the nature of results ?? I ve been using Addy's analytical expressions for location of Mach disc as a benchmark ....
