Dear Foamers,
I have searched for related topics in forum, but all of them don't answer the question I have. As I understood, there are some problems with simpleSpline in openFOAM 1.5. with simpleSpline I got good shape, but the grid of cells is wrong. (i have also tried to change simpleGrading) simpleSpline.jpg then I have made this trick with polySpline error from the thread http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...e-problem.html and got a normal grid. polyLine.jpg But for my optimisation algorithm use of this trick, that is based or error, is not the best way, because the grid should be created automatically, and there should be only a few (2-3) parameters, that will be changed. So I have a question to the people, who have more experience with openFOAM. Can I solve this problem with blockMesh, OF 1.6 or it's better to use some others pre-processors like Gmsh? TIA Ivan P.S. Here is the original blockMeshDict with simpleSpline blockMeshDict_simpleSpline.txt |
