hello, I am using openFoam-1.6 and trying to run simpleFoam with MPIRUN in a core2quad. The case is a 3d windtunnel and it has about 5300000 elements. I get the next error message:

MPIRUN just fails. It looks like there's no problem with the case, mesh, or BC. Yesterday I ran another case with MPIRUN and it worked.
I use openFoam 64bits on Ubuntu-9.04 64 bits

Nobody answered, but I figured out that this error happens when you run out of RAM. The process just dies.

Either in case of out of hard drive space....

MPIRUN doesn't throw any exception for those problems as far as I know.
