The new OpenFOAM discussion forum has now been online for half a year. Most of you probably remember the old forum, which used a software called DiscusWare. What do you guys think about the new forum, which is now integrated with the other forums at CFD Online?

Migrating the previous forum from the old and dying DiscusWare software was a lot of work and Pete spent many hours to get the import of all old messages working correctly.

Initially many people missed some of the functionality from the old DiscusWare based forum. I hope that we have fixed most of the problems now, with for example the "New Posts"/"Updated Threads" menus and the possibility to subscribe to new posts via the majordomo mailing-lists.

Half a year after launching the new forum please give us your feedback and thoughts. Was this a good move or should we have left it as it was? Are you still missing something?
