Getting ParaView to work is a frequent problem with O.F. installations. I recently got everything running on an old laptop with a clean installation of Ubuntu 9.04 and using Synaptic to install libqt4-dev and build-essential packages. After that, ParaView ran without re-compiling.
If this doesn't work for you, search the Installation forums. There are some helpful install scripts and successful methods posted by other users. Good luck, Alan |

Hi Alan,
Thank you for your help! I will redo my installation of openfoam to see that I have done nothing wrong. I have now installed the libqt4-dev (I hade libqt3-dev before on my Ubuntu 9.04.). Thanks once again! |
