Hi,
I have a query in mesh conversion. I export my mesh from fluent to foam using fluentMeshToFoam. My question is since i make the mesh in "mm", do i have to scale mư mesh or specify anywhere that my mesh is in "mm". As the standard unit of measure in Openfoam is "m". Please help!! ThnX a ton in advance.. |

I think first you should check the mesh using "checkMesh" utility. If the domain box looks like being in millimeters, you can scale the mesh using command "transformPoints -scale "(0.001 0.001 0.001)"".

Alternatively,
you can use the -scale: Usage: fluentMeshToFoam <Fluent mesh file> [-writeSets] [-case dir] [-writeZones] [-scale scale factor] [-help] [-doc] [-srcDoc] Henrik |
