Hi all.

I am new with openfoam and with c++, so please bear with me.

I changed the factor convertToMeters in /applications/utilities/mesh/conversion/fluentMeshToFoam/fluentMeshToFoam.L
and now would like to compile it. If I just try to do it with Make file, I get

make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop..

And as far as I can see it Make file in the directory is just a template. i am also confused by the file name extension .L. I worked through some c++ tutorials, but haven't seen this extension.

Any help or hint is greately appreciated.
