Hi,
I have constructed a surfaceScalarField dx by

surfaceScalarField dx
(
IOobject
(
"dx",
runTime.timeName(),
mesh,
IOobject::NO_READ,
IOobject::NO_WRITE
),
1.0/(mesh.surfaceInterpolation::deltaCoeffs())
);
and
surfaceScalarField E = fvc::interpolate(mag(rhoU/rho)+SoundSpeed);

I then want to compute the "scalar-product" of
dx and E. Will the result be a volScalarField and how is this done?

best regards Marco
