Default Phenom and Intel's quadcores a

Phenom and Intel's quadcores are considered here. Obviously, Phenom is much cheaper, but is there any idea about approximate computing power ratios for them? I'm wondering if comp. power justifies the price... Somehow Intel is currently assumed to be faster.
