Dear All,

The School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics (SECaM), University
of Exeter, funds a number of PhD studentships each year, open to UK and
EU applicants only. Some of these studentships are general (i.e.
projects can be in any area of interest to the School) and some are
restricted to specific areas, in particular this year in
interdisciplinary Renewable Energy research. I have a few project
suggestions involving OpenFOAM; one on modelling marine energy projects,
others involving turbulence modelling, genetic algorithms, and Image
Based Meshing. If anyone is interested in pursuing a PhD using OpenFOAM,
and would like to come to Exeter, please email me in the first instance
- my email is g.r.tabor@ex.ac.uk
