Inquiry About Implementing Rational Polynomial Equations in OpenFOAM

Hi Foamers,
I am a beginner with OpenFOAM, currently practicing some solvers in foam-extend and solids4foam to deepen my understanding of OpenFOAM programming. Recently, I came across a type of equation where the unknown variable appears in the form of a rational polynomial, as shown in Figure 1 in the attached file. It seems such equations are rarely implemented in OpenFOAM solvers. Based on my understanding of OpenFOAM coding practices, I have made an initial attempt to formulate this equation in OpenFOAM's syntax, as shown in Figure 2. However, due to my limited experience, I am uncertain whether this approach is feasible. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your insights or provide guidance on this matter.
