Hello Everyone,
I am trying to simulate IC engine without combustion, I was thinking whether we could use overset mesh to simulate movement of valves and piston? I read somewhere that in overset mesh the walls cannot cross, so how should I model stem of valve here. Here is a look of the model I have prepared for simulation. Any thoughts/suggestions are most welcome. Last edited by jmex; December 9, 2024 at 07:05. Reason: removing image from thread, as it is in attachment |

can someone suggest a way to perform such simulation (if not overset). And if so, just want to know if this is possible at all for the walls to intersect.
I need to know so that I can focus and work in that direction. Any suggestion are most welcome. |
