JSSS is on a distinguished road
I was running a RANS (steadystate) simulation where I was using atmPlantCanopyUSource and atmPlantCanopyTurbSource to model a row of hedges in my mesh for a given Cd and LAD. I am not including thermal effects and assuming constant density.

Currently I am trying to run the same simulation but in LES as the next step in my project. I can see on the documentation that the atmPlantCanopy...Source options are only intended for RANS simulations however if I include the USource term the simulation still runs in LES.

My questions are:
  1. Would this be doing anything in the calculation and how could I tell? Would it be correct or a nonsense result?
  2. If this is wrong (as I am thinking it might be) what would be the best (and correct) way to reintroduce the vegetation force term in an LES simulation?

Thanks in advance, I am still learning
