interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam-> Phase Change Problem with Hardt Model

Hey,
I am working on modeling free surface flows, where one phase is a liquid and the other phase is a gas. I would like to use the solver "interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam" since I would like to introduce evaporation at the gas-liquid interface. I set up my case and initialize both phases with saturation conditions. For the phase change model I use "interfaceHeatResistance", which should be the evaporation model according to hardt&wondra. My liquid is heated (10K above saturation temperature) to force evaporation at the interface. I would expect that I have simple cooling of the interface due to the evaporation mass flux at the interface, so the interface temperature should be at saturation temperature (or little above) and the gas temperature should be constant saturation temperature, just heating to the liquid phase. My problem now is, that this is not the case and my interface is above saturation and it heats up the gas phase. Does anyone have experienced similar problems with the "interfaceHeatRestistance" phase change model in the interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam solver ? Any help or discussion would be very valuable |
