Good night dear all i am facing an error when i apply the createBaffles -overwirte command. But let me explain
i created my geometry in salome shaper in four parts, inlet.stl, inlet_pipe.slt, plate.stl and outlet.stl, then i applied the following commands:
surfaceFeatures
blockMesh
snappyHexMesh -overwrite


Then i open the boundary file located in polyMesh folder and i deleted the defaultPatch and instead of having 5 i change it to 4.


Then i apply the setFields and finally the createBaffles -overwirte in here is when problem arises



--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
Problem : Patch inlet starts at 700821
Current face counter at 466735
Are patches in incremental order?


It seems in the boundary file because i deleted the defualtPatch, but if i do not delete such a patch, i will get an error as well.



i already tried to change the blockMesh and the snappyHexMesh but i have no success.


hence, do you any idea how to solve it?

I found the problem, in snappyHexMesh the typeInfo needs to be specified.
